Good folks there. I here there is a new chef..... ( cook) he's midest but does a d@$!n good job !
Been 3 times at best ok except my last visit. last week ordered fried oysters. A total joke I believed they deep fried processes canned oysters. There was nothing but crust no oyster but some slimy residue. Salad had browned bake potato good. So I paid 26.00 for a baked potato only thing edible. never be back.
Hit or miss food. Menu has way to many items for any of them to be really good. Ok for breakfast if you keep it simple. Little bar in the back for drinks and to watch a game. Overall unremarkable and not somewhere you want to eat often.
Ate here several times on fishing trips. Always nice service and great food. Never had a bad meal.
Been here with a large group previously. Food was mediocre then; I got sick from crab cakes last year. This year, they treated us as second class citizens, giving us a "special" menu since we had four families dining together. This never happened in past, and all items were the most expensive selections they had; getting a smaller steak was not available, but larger (and more expensive) cuts of the same type were unavailable. We left after manager came to our table and loudly berated us for coming. After such a humiliating experience, I'll never return, even if I was by myself. Staff and manger were so rude and degrading, publicly even. Everyone stared about it. Maybe good for one or two people, but they'll definitely announce to everyone there that your stupid for coming in with family. Would not recommend
